	School House BackpackersLocation We are above Kings Cross station on Darlinghurst Road. Very central to everything in the Kings Cross area and only a 10-minute walk into the city centre. Security We have excellent security. Everyone gets a key, which opens the front door and their room, as well as a code to open a secure code-locked door leading from the foyer. There are secure pay lockers in the commons area. Video security cameras are on every level and at the front door. Security deposit box available at reception. Facilities and Atmosphere This is a new themed backpacker hostel featuring modern, clean rooms with air-conditioning, a spacious common kitchen and dining facility, two laundries, three-level sundeck, internet café, coffee shop, in-house TV/Film Theatre and travel agency. Job boards and job centres available. This hostel was completely renovated in early 2005. All the furnishings are new and beds include proper innerspring mattresses. One third of rooms have en suite bathrooms. All bathrooms have hairdryers or are available from reception.We have a socially active environment with theme parties and group activities. Free weekly barbecues, games and events provide an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. Open Office open 6am-midnight, although staff are on call for 24 hour check in.
