	The Backcountry Hostel is a brand new, clean facility with a staff eager to please. We are located in picturesque Nelson in the heart of the cities' funky and wild nightlife. We have no curfew or lockout and are walking distance to all restaurants, bars, banks and the post office.We can arrange all your hiking, biking and winter sport needs both individually or on a package basis. The hostel offers an assortment of accommodation, from 4, 6, and 8 person dorms to private rooms with cable T.V. and free storage for all bags, bikes and winter gear.The Hostel is non smoking but we do have a separate fully vented smoking room for those in need. Our social coordinator also organizes pub crawls, nights out and group trips to the many events and shows in the area, as well as day ski trips etc. Nelson has world class DJ's constantly in town anda huge variety of live music on a regular basis.
