Gallo Pinto is an authentic Costa Rican home where we meet the needs of tourists by providing accommodation, complete personalized assistance&travel agency services.Gallo Pinto hostel is the perfect blend between a hostel and a hotel. It has all the facilities and commodities of a fancy hotel with the price you would pay at most hostels around town. It is located in one of the nicest parts of downtown San Jose, right in the heart of town. At walking distance from the major bus stops, just picture all the money you are going to save on cab fares.You can take a bus to the main beaches around Costa Rica for less than 6 dollars bus fare and get back to your comfy hostel on the same day. You can also take buses to other really interesting sites that are located less than 4 blocks away.Hey you might even want to takeinternational buses that are also at walking distance. Don`t worry about food, one of the cheapest supermarkets is a couple of blocks away and in our fully equipped kitchen lunch will be ready right away.We might even give you hints on how to prepare Costa Rican meals (gallo pinto is a must). If you don´t feel like cooking we are surrounded by dozens of places with really good food starting around 3 dollars per meal.
