The Santa Margherita agritourist farm offers accommodation is comfortable rooms or apartments and restaurant service.Also available: riding stables and excursions to the Aeolian islands.The farm is located in Gioiosa Marea in Sicily, which means nature just a step away from the sea (2 Km) just opposite the Aeolian Islands.From S.Margherita you can easily reach the ancient Greek colongy of Tindari (7 km) where you can visit the archaeological zone (Greek theatre, basilica and Roman villa), the sanctuary of the Madonna Nera and, in Marinello, the salt ponds and lovely beach. The Aeolian Islands can be reached in just one hour by boat from Gioiosa Marea or Milazzo: there are seven volcanic islands offering different views, but all are not to be missed!Cefalů is also only an hour by car: it deserves a visit for its seaside, cathedral and small alleyways. Taormina does not need to be presented; it can be reached in a little more than an hour by motorway. A visit to this pearl is sure to be unforgettable. In addition, you can make day-long excursionsto Palermo, Monreale,Erice, Selinunte, Segestum, Agrigentum and the Valley of the Temples, Piazza Armerina, Syracuse and Noto (Baroque Art) and other splendid Sicilian localities.Within the farm there are plenty of roads where guests can take long walks and get to know first-hand our citrus, olive and almond cultivations.Numerous recreational activities are available either at the farm or nearby structures, including horseback riding,pool, mountain bike, bocce, ping pong, tennis, billiards, a park, organized evenings, a shop selling typical local products.
