	The hotel is a private family business starting out with the Postcaféen in 1924 later to be joined with the hotel in 1938. The primary goal was (and still is) to offer reasonable accommodation and real Norwegian food. Though now we only serve beer and wine. We are constantly renovating the hotel and its rooms. Last year we gave the façade a total new color. Our reception and 1/3 of the rooms were renovated appx. 4 years ago. As of now we are renovationg 3 rooms without sh/wc to rooms with. After this we will change the carpets of 3 floors as well. Approximately 20of our rooms have TV- satellite which offers German RTL, DW, CNN, Eurosport, Swedens TV4 and all Norwegian channels.
