	This restaurant is a former steam boat, built in 1913 and put into dry dock in 1966. The St Louis is a village restaurant with its connecting 12-room Motel. The terraces overlook a natural garden. Portalban is a former fishing village tucked into a haven of greenery.3 Km to Gletterens (a unique prehistoric village); 5 Km to the roman museum in Vallon; the small roman town of Avenches is 8Km away while Morat, a touristic village, is 15 Km away; Payerne, at 16Km distance, has a cathedral and an aviation museum. Peaceful and quiet, WC, shower and phone in all rooms, balcony. The St Louis restaurant has a varied menu of light dishes. The boat restaurant has a seasonal menu with lake specialties. Private parking for cars available next the hotel.
